As summer holidays come to a close, the devotee rush at Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple continues to rise rapidly. On June 7, 2025, thousands of pilgrims stood in long queues to get a glimpse of the deity. The Vaikuntham Queue Complex compartments are now completely filled, with lines extending as far as the Sila Thoranam area.

20 Hours Waiting Time for Sarva Darshan

TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) officials have confirmed that devotees without tokens are facing a wait time of 20 hours for Sarva Darshan (free darshan). This is due to the overwhelming footfall post-summer vacations.

Daily Darshan Stats – June 6, 2025

SSD Token Issuing Now at Bhudevi Complex

To improve convenience and reduce confusion:

  • From June 7 evening, Divya Darshan tokens for footpath pilgrims are now being issued at the Bhudevi Complex in Alipiri.
  • TTD also confirmed that SSD tokens and facilities are temporarily being shifted to the same location.
  • Additional counters and amenities have already been set up for smoother operations.

New Counters Planned at Srinivasa Mangapuram

TTD is also planning to open a new token counter at Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple, pending approval from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Until then, Bhudevi Complex will handle the load.

Extra Staff Deployed for Crowd Management

To handle the surge and maintain smooth darshan services:

  • Additional volunteers and sanitation staff have been deployed
  • Administrative monitoring and support staff have been reinforced
  • All facilities, including toilets, water, and shade shelters, are being maintained regularly

TTD assures that every effort is being made to ensure pilgrim comfort and hygiene, even with record footfalls.
