TTD Online Room Booking Availability Chart: Live Quota + Date-wise View

Shiva Venkateswara Jul 7, 2026 7 min read

The TTD online room booking availability chart is the date-wise, colour-coded grid on the official booking portal (ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in) that shows which Tirumala and Tirupati accommodation blocks have rooms open, sold out, or not yet released. Green means bookable, red means full, and each month’s quota opens about three months in advance at 3:00 PM IST.

Availability status: July 2026 — quotas for July, August and September 2026 check-ins are already released and largely booked; green cells now come mainly from cancellation re-releases through the day. The October 2026 quota (Navaratri Brahmotsavam month) is expected to open on 24 July 2026 at 3:00 PM IST. Status last reviewed on 7 July 2026; the live grid on the official portal is always the final word.

Colour Codes at a Glance

TTD uses a consistent colour system across the booking portal. Read the cell colour before you plan your next move.

ColourMeaningPilgrim action
GreenRooms availableBook immediately; verify the room category first
RedFully bookedWatch for cancellation re-releases
BlueSpecial quota or advance-release windowCheck eligibility and timings
Grey / WhiteQuota not yet openNote the release date from the calendar below

Shades can change with portal updates. If a colour looks unfamiliar, hover over the cell for a tooltip or verify the legend on the portal itself.

What the TTD Online Room Booking Availability Chart Shows

The chart is organised as a calendar-style matrix: rows list accommodation blocks (for example Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, MBC cottages, Padmavathi Nilayam) and columns list check-in dates. Each cell is coloured to reflect the current booking status of that block for that date.

It is purely informational. To actually book, you must log in, select the date and block, and reach the payment step before the quota is exhausted. Dates whose quota has not yet been released appear greyed out until the monthly release opens them.

Quota Release Calendar 2026: When Each Month Opens

TTD releases each check-in month’s room quota roughly three months in advance, in recent cycles on the 24th of the month at 3:00 PM IST on ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. For example, the May 2026 quota opened on 24 February 2026 and the September 2026 quota on 24 June 2026, both at 3:00 PM. TTD announces the exact date each cycle, so treat the dates below as the expected pattern and confirm on the portal a few days before.

Check-in monthQuota release dateRelease time (IST)Status (July 2026)
August 202624 May 20263:00 PMReleased; mostly booked, watch cancellations
September 2026 (Salakatla Brahmotsavam)24 June 20263:00 PMReleased; high demand, sells out fastest
October 2026 (Navaratri Brahmotsavam)24 July 2026 (expected)3:00 PMNot yet open
November 202624 August 2026 (expected)3:00 PMNot yet open

Rooms for popular dates are often exhausted within five to fifteen minutes of the release, so be logged in with payment ready before 3:00 PM on release day. Our TTD monthly quota release guide tracks each cycle’s official announcement.

How to Check TTD Room Availability Today

If your travel date is within the next few weeks, the quota is already released and your only route is the live chart plus cancellation re-releases. Check it in under two minutes:

  1. Open the official TTD booking portal at ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in and log in with your registered mobile number or email.
  2. Go to the Accommodation section and choose Tirumala (hill top) or Tirupati (down hill).
  3. Select your check-in date; the chart displays each block’s status for that date in colour.
  4. If your date shows red everywhere, re-check during the refresh windows listed below — cancelled and unpaid rooms return to the pool through the day.

Cross-check what you see with our TTD rooms allotment live status page, which explains block-wise allotment behaviour in detail.

How the Quota Cycle Works

TTD does not dump all inventory at once, which is why the same date can flip from red to green several times before check-in.

Monthly Advance Release

The main quota for a full check-in month opens about three months ahead at 3:00 PM IST, as per the calendar above. This is the most competitive slot, especially for Fridays, weekends and festival dates. Log in a few minutes early and stay on the accommodation page.

Cancellation Re-release

Every time a pilgrim cancels or fails to pay within the payment window, that room returns to the pool. The portal re-publishes these throughout the day, creating small green windows inside an otherwise red grid. Closer to the date, this is effectively the only source of rooms.

How to Read the Chart Efficiently

Scan the chart horizontally first, pick your check-in date column and look for any green cells. Then scan vertically within that column to compare block categories and prices.

  • Prioritise blocks closest to the temple if darshan time is tight
  • Pick larger complexes (Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam) for higher room counts
  • Note check-in and check-out times before confirming
  • Mark dates against personal plans like sevas or train arrivals

How to Catch Cancellation Re-releases

Cancellation re-releases are the single biggest underused trick. Rooms appear in bursts, often during late-night and early-morning hours when most pilgrims are offline.

Keep the chart open in a logged-in session, refresh at regular intervals, and have your payment method ready. The moment a red cell turns green, you typically have seconds, not minutes, to complete payment. UPI tends to confirm faster than card 3D-secure during peak rush. Prices, payment windows and refund rules are subject to revision; verify on the portal before transacting.

Common Reasons a Green Cell Fails

Seeing green does not guarantee a booking. Several session-level conditions can block the payment step.

  • Someone else completed payment seconds before you
  • Your session expired mid-flow
  • Bank OTP delay pushed you past the hold window
  • Selected room category was exhausted while the overall block stayed green
  • Payment gateway glitch — retry with UPI or another card

Best Times to Refresh the Chart

Based on pilgrim reports, cancellation re-releases cluster around payment-timeout windows, and the monthly quota drop is fixed at 3:00 PM IST on release day.

Window (IST)Why it matters
3:00 PM on monthly release dayFresh quota for the whole check-in month goes live
Early morning (05:00 to 07:00)Overnight cancellations resurface
Post-lunch (14:00 to 15:30)Unpaid holds from the morning rush expire
Late evening (21:00 to 23:00)Day-end cancellations

If You Cannot Get a TTD Room

Tirumala also has community choultries and private guest houses. Our guides on MBC-34 Tirumala and Hathiramji Mutt are good fallbacks. For darshan planning regardless of where you stay, track Tirumala darshan status daily.

Current-booking counters at the CRO in Tirumala also release unsold rooms to walk-in pilgrims with valid ID early in the morning. During Brahmotsavam and school-vacation weeks, walk-in success is low but not impossible midweek.

Quick Checklist Before Booking

  • TTD account verified with Aadhaar and an active mobile number
  • Travel-party IDs ready for the booking form
  • Preferred block and a backup block shortlisted
  • Payment app or card tested within the last 24 hours
  • Cancellation and refund policy skimmed
  • Alarm set for 3:00 PM IST on your quota release day

TTD occasionally adjusts release dates or times to manage server load, so verify the announcement on the official portal a day before your quota window opens.

FAQ

Where is the TTD room availability chart located?

It is on the official TTD booking portal, ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, under the Accommodation section. Always begin from the official portal to avoid unofficial mirrors.

When does TTD release the room quota for a month?

In recent cycles, about three months before the check-in month, on the 24th at 3:00 PM IST — for example, the September 2026 quota opened on 24 June 2026. TTD announces the exact date each cycle, so confirm on the portal.

What does a red cell mean on the chart?

Red indicates that the block is fully booked for that date. It can still flip to green temporarily when a cancellation or an expired unpaid hold returns a room to the pool.

How do I check TTD room availability for today or this week?

Log in to ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, open Accommodation, and select your date. Near-term dates are already-released quota, so any availability comes from cancellation re-releases; re-check during early-morning, post-lunch and late-evening windows.

How often does the chart refresh?

The chart reflects near real-time inventory, updating whenever a booking is completed, cancelled or an unpaid hold expires. A manual refresh shows you the latest state.

Can I book without logging in?

You can view the chart, but booking requires a verified TTD account with a linked mobile number and ID. Keep credentials ready before the quota window opens.

Are festival-date rooms shown on the same chart?

Yes, but festival months such as the 2026 Brahmotsavams (September and October) sell out fastest and may show restricted cells until their quota opens.

Are room tariffs shown in the chart confirmed?

Tariffs shown are indicative and subject to revision by the TTD board. The final amount appears at the payment step.
