With the increase of crowd in the last few days and next coming dates till end of Athi Varadar Darshan the authorities are facing a lot of issues in terms of parking. The authorities of the temple has arranged a lot of places for the sake of parking. The parking areas has been assigned near the out skirts of the city so that the traffic inside the city is not jammed.

The parking areas has been arranged for bikes, cars and large vehicles separately. The parking will be provided for 24 hours only for any vehicles. Pilgrims has to reach the temple by walk or else other public transport.

The parking fee for the vehicles is collected in different for different areas. However the parking areas are maintained by private people, so charges will be charged as per the convenience of them.

  • Pilgrims who are travelling from South of Tamilnadu, from places like Tambaram, Chengalpet and any other towns from that side, the vehicles can be parked at the Pachayappan College and can take a share aut0 from here to reach the temple
  • Pilgrims coming from Bangalore & Andhrapradesh the vehciles can be parked at the olimavurpettai. Pilgrims can take buses to the temple directly from here.
  • For pilgrims coming from Tiruvannamalai can park their vehicles at the Orikkai and can take buses from here to reach temple.
  • If you have booked an VIP, Donor pass or Online Booking, and if you expect the Darshan time will be less then the pilgrims can park their vehicles inside the city itself at Rangasami Kulam and can reach the temple by walk.
  • There are parking palaces near the Thiruveedhi Pallam and Periyaar Nagar but they get full easily. Pilgrims can take buses from here to reach the temple

All parking location operates 24 hours and are maintained by proper security. However due to heavy crowd, it is suggested to take care of your vehicles by your self.
