Tirumala Sarva Darshan (Free Darshan)

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has enabled Free Darshan to all the pilgrims which is termed as Sarva Darshan. Sarva Darshan is generally free and need not to book before. A pilgrim who wants have Darshan of Lord Balaji through a free Darshan need not to book or token before and can enter in to Que complex and wait for Darshan.

Timings of Sarva Darshan:

The timings for Sarva Darsan are different on different days of the week. On normal days, about 18 hours are allotted for Sarva Darsan and on peak days, it is open for 20 hours. Generally, the waiting time of Sarva Darshan directly depends on the crowd. Sometimes, Sarva Darshan takes 3-4 hours and sometime it goes to 24-48 hours. its highly suggested to visit Tirumala when crowd is very less, if you plan to visit Sarva Darshan.

Procedure of Sarva Darshan:

If a pilgrim chooses to go with Sarva Darshan, he/she can directly reach Tirumala and reach to the entrance of Vaikuntam Que Complex II and can take a token and should wait in the Que complex.

The complex is a series of inter-connected halls that leads to the main temple. An efficient queue system ensures that pilgrims move in an orderly fashion through the Queue Complex, towards the main temple.

The halls in the Queue Complex are clean, spacious and airy. TTD provides a wide range of facilities in the Queue Complex:

  • Annaprasadam is provided for the waiting pilgrims on free of cost.
  •  Milk, Coffee & Tea are provided for waiting pilgrims on free of cost at every 3 hours interval.
  • Free Medical facility is also provided.
  •  Well maintained toilets , RO filter water are available.
  • Closed Circuit Television, through which devotional programmes and music are relayed

Once you enter in to Vaikuntam Que Complex, you are not allowed to leave the complex and come back.

Alternatively, as of now TTD has introduced an token system for Sarva Darshan only for limited number of pilgrims daily. The  tokens can be booked from Booking counters. Booking counters available in Tirupati at below places.

  • Bus stand
  • Mahati auditorium
  • Railway station
  • Alipiri

Voter ID is mandatory to Book from these counters and Sarva Darshan quota is limited each day and during huge crowd, this counters may be closed. You can check with Customer care for more details.
